Ceda-Serica Wax & Aroma Lite Wicks

I'm currently testing Coco Apricot / Ceda Serica candle wax with Aroma Lite candle wicks. I'm hoping that this will be helpful to some when narrowing down which wicks to use.  Feel free to adjust based on your wax/vessel/fragrance oil combo.  I'm using a vessel that's 3-1/8" inner diameter at the top, so if yours is smaller, you will want to wick down.  It's best to test a couple wick sizes in a few wick series or brands to see what you like the best!  Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions at all.  I'm here to help. 

About Aroma Lite Wicks...
Constructed of 100% natural fibers, Aroma-Lite Wick by Atkins & Pearce is often used in container and pillar candles. As a self-trimming wick, Aroma-Lite Wick features a blend of all-natural braided textiles that reduce and inhibit carbon heading and burn in candles with high levels of fragrance.  We have Aroma Lite Wicks Sample Packs available where you receive 5 of each of the 14 different sizes available.

I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are AL 100 (single wick), AL 110 (single wick), AL 120 (single wick), and AL 140 (single wick).  I'm using our Cashmere fragrance oil at 9% fragrance load.  I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated!

Ceda Serica	3-1/8"	AL 100	9%	Looking good so far. About 1/2 way down.  This one ended up being the winner!  Super clean burn and excellent heat throw.
Ceda Serica	3-1/8"	AL 110	9%	Looking good so far. About 1/2 way down. This one was decent. There was a tiny bit of haze along the rim of the vessel. I think it will be a toss up between the 100 and 110 depending on fragrance oil load.
Ceda Serica	3-1/8"	AL 120	9%	Looking good so far.  About 1/2 way down.  While this one started out fine, there was a bit of soot along the rim of the vessel.
Ceda Serica	3-1/8"	AL 140	9%	Looking good so far. About 1/2 way down.  This wick is too large for this wax/vessel combo. Again, there was a bit of soot along the rim of the vessel.
