ParaSoy 5474 Wax & LX Wicks
I'm currently testing the Titan Para-soy 5474 candle wax with Lx wicks. I'm hoping that this will be helpful to some when narrowing down which wicks to use. Feel free to adjust based on your wax/vessel/fragrance oil combo. I'm using the Libbey straight sided vessel (2917) that's 3-1/8" inner diameter at the top, so if yours is smaller, you will want to wick down. It's best to test a couple wick sizes in a few wick series or brands to see what you like the best! Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions at all. I'm here to help.
About LX Wicks...
LX wicks are braided, coreless, flat wicks manufactured with stabilizing threads that ensure an optimum burn profile. The allows for a very stable and consistent flame, which minimizes, or eliminates, mushrooming / carbon buildup while reducing smoke and soot. These wicks are similar to Premier wicks in that they don't burn too hot.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wick I'm testing is Lx 16 and Lx 18. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing. I will keep you updated! The other items I used when testing are the bowtie wick centering bars and our candle wick trimmers.
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

5474 | Lx 16 | I'm about 1/3 of the way through. Thinking I will have to wick up one or two sizes...see video below. |
5474 | Lx 18 | Testing.. got a late start on this one. Will test burn only until it catches up to the Lx 16. :-P |
