Wick Testing Soy Bliss / CB2 Wax & Crackle Wood Wicks
About Crackle Wood Wicks...
Wooden wicks are very easy to use and add a unique appeal to finished candles. Our wooden wicks are designed to burn cleanly, promoting a full melt pool and excellent scent throw. They come with stainless steel custom tabs, which prevent any wax discoloration. Wood wicks are known for their unique ‘crackle’ when burning in finished candles.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are Crackle Single .02/.375 (SMALL), Crackle Single .02/.5 (MEDIUM), Crackle Single .02/.625 (LARGE), Crackle Single .03/.375 (SMALL), Crackle Single .03/.5 (MEDIUM), and Crackle Single .03/.625 (LARGE). I'm using our new Warm Sugar Cookie fragrance oil at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated! The other items I used when testing are the high temp wick stickers and our candle wick trimmers.
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.
