Wick Testing TitanZero ParaNatural 5475 Wax & CD Wicks
About CD Wicks...
Stabilo, formerly knows as CD wicks respectively, the Stabilo wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided cotton wicks with a special paper filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The Stabilo series is used in many different applications and is especially compatible with the harder to melt viscous vegetable-based waxes.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are CD 10 (single wick), and CD 12 (single wick). I'm using Pumpkin Souffle at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated! The other items I used when testing are the bowtie wick centering bars and our candle wick trimmers.
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Wax Type | Vessel Size | Wicks | Fragrance Load | Results |
ParaNatural 5475 | 3-1/8" | CD 10 | 9% Pumpkin Souffle | Both the CD 10 & 12 are too large for this wax/vessel combo. There's a lot of sooting at the top of the vessel, not to mention the jar got too hot. I will wick down for this wax/wick/fragrance load combo. |
