Wick Testing Soy 10 Wax & Premier Wicks
The Premier 700 series wicks are flat braided cotton core wicks made from textile-grade cotton. They are designed to promote clean burning and minimize mushrooming from carbon buildup. These are great wicks for coconut blended waxes because they don't burn too hot! We have Premier Wicks Sample Packs available where you receive 5 of each of the 25 different sizes available.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are Premier 745 (single wick), Premier 750 (single wick), Premier 755, and Premier 760 (single wick). I'm using our Fresh Water + Aloe fragrance oil at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated!
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Wax Type | Vessel Size | Wicks | Fragrance Load | Results |
Soy 10 | 3-1/8" | Premier 745 | 9% Fresh Water + Aloe | There's a tiny amount of soot along the rim of the vessel. It's about 3/4 of the way down. I want to test a 740 and see how that turns out. |
