Wick Testing Titan Wax Natural 5465 Coco Soy Wax & CD Wicks
About CD Wicks...
Stabilo, formerly knows as CD wicks respectively, the Stabilo wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided cotton wicks with a special paper filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The Stabilo series is used in many different applications and is especially compatible with the harder to melt viscous vegetable-based waxes.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are CD 10 (single wick), and CD 12 (single wick). I'm using Pumpkin Souffle at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated! The other items I used when testing are the bowtie wick centering bars and our candle wick trimmers.
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Titan Natural 5465 | 3-1/8" | CD 10 | 9% Pumpkin Souffle |
I'm about 1/2 way down the candle and it looks like this might be too small of a wick, so far. **Actually, this turned out really good. No soot and the wax hang up on the sides caught up / melted off the jar. |

I'm about 1/2 way down and so far, this looks really good. I'm most likely going to retest this size along with a CD 14 just to narrow it down some more. **Still looking really good. A little bit of residue along the sides of the vessel. Could be a characteristics of this wax, though. I'm going to test a CD14.
