Wick Testing Titan Wax Natural 5465 Coco Soy Wax & ECO Wicks
About ECO Wicks...
ECO wick is constructed from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads that produce a rigid structure for easy pouring. The consistent flame and slight curl of ECO wicks work well with natural waxes and ensures an even burn. ECO wicks are lead and zinc-free.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are ECO 10 (single wick), and ECO 12 (single wick). I'm using Pumpkin Souffle at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated! The other items I used when testing are the bowtie wick centering bars and our candle wick trimmers.
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Wax Type | Vessel Size | Wicks | Fragrance Load | Results |
Titan Coco Soy 5465 | 3-1/8" | ECO 10 | 9% Pumpkin Souffle | Both of these seem too small of a wick. I'm still keeping an eye on these. I think both of these are slightly underwicked. I'm going to try ECO 14 & 16. **There was no soot for this combo but there was a wax layer along the sides of the vessel. I want to try a larger wick to see how that turns out. |
