Perfume Base Directions

Our Perfume base is easy to use! No additional additives are needed. We recommend up to a 25% fragrance load for perfumes. Simply add fragrance oil and stir. Wait 30 minutes and it's ready to go. **Special note: Double check category 4 on the Ifra sheet for the fragrance that you're using to make sure it's at least 25% usage. If it's lower, then you want to use that amount instead.

For example, when making a 10 oz batch, measure out 71 grams (2.5 oz) of fragrance oil and 212 grams (7.5 oz of base) and mix together.

If you're using our 100 ml Daisy perfume bottles, and using 25% fragrance load then it would be 22 grams of fragrance oil and 69 grams of base per bottle for a total of 91 grams.

If you're using our 50ml Daisy perfume bottles, and using 25% fragrance load, then it would be half the amounts, so 11 grams of fragrance oil and 35 grams of perfume base per bottle for a total of 46.

Please note: Again, always check this against the maximum usage rate for your particular fragrance oil under the IFRA guidelines, which is found on each product page. For example, if making a perfume with fragrance that only allows 10% for perfumes (category 4), then you are only able to use 10% load instead of the normal 25%.  Make sure to test with different fragrances.  FYI: Room sprays will be Category 10B on the IFRA doc.  Body mists/sprays is Category 2 and perfume is Category 4.

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with face, eyes and broken skin. Keep away from flame/high heat. Avoid direct contact with wood and other finished surfaces as it may cause discoloration.  Always test on fabrics in unseen area.
