Calmaison #9 Coconut Luxury Wax & LX Wicks

Results, but I would like to test LX12...
I'm currently testing LX wicks with Calmaison #9 Coconut Luxury Wax by CalWax.  I'm hoping that this will be helpful to some when narrowing down which wicks to use.  Feel free to adjust based on your wax/vessel/fragrance oil combo.  I'm using a vessel (Libbey Heavy Rocks Base) that's 3-1/8" inner diameter at the top, so if yours is smaller, you will want to wick down.  It's best to test a couple wick sizes in a few wick series or brands to see what you like the best!  Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions at all.  I'm here to help.

About LX wicks...
The LX wick is a uniquely braided, coreless, flat wick manufactured with stabilizing threads that ensure an optimum burn profile. The allows for a very stable and consistent flame, which minimizes, or eliminates, carbon buildup (mushrooming) while reducing afterglow, smoke, and soot. The LX series of wicks are designed to improve the burning of paraffin and vegetable waxes in pillars as well as containers.  Made in the USA.

I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are LX 14, 16, and 18.  I'm using between and 8-9% fragrance load.  I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them.  I will keep you updated!  The other items I used when testing are the bowtie wick centering bars, and our candle wick trimmers.

If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Testing. I'm just over half way and wondering if I should either lower fragrance oil % or test an LX 12. Almost done with testing and I'm going with LX 14 with a lower fragrance load (8%) or LX 12. I'll retest with an LX 12 at some point soon.
