Wick Testing Soy 10 Wax & Aroma Lite Wicks
About Aroma Lite Wicks...
Constructed of 100% natural fibers, Aroma-Lite Wick by Atkins & Pearce is often used in container and pillar candles. As a self-trimming wick, Aroma-Lite Wick features a blend of all-natural braided textiles that reduce and inhibit carbon heading and burn in candles with high levels of fragrance. We have Aroma Lite Wicks Sample Packs available where you receive 5 of each of the 14 different sizes available.
I'm using a 3-1/8" jar and the wicks I'm using are AL 100 (single wick), AL 110 (single wick), AL 120, and AL 140 (single wick). I'm using our Fresh Water + Aloe fragrance oil at 9% fragrance load. I will allow it to cure for 2 weeks before testing them. I will keep you updated!
If you've found a combination that works for you, please feel free to share your results below.

Testing. I'm about half way through the candle and it looks like this one might too small of a wick for this vessel. Actually, this one turned out great, with no soot. It was a nice, clean burn. |

Testing. I'm about half way through this candle and both the AL 110 and AL 120 look really good for this vessel size. The AL 110 performed well, too. I will say for this vessel/fragrance oil combo, it's between the AL100 and AL110. |

Testing. I'm about half way through this candle and both the AL 110 and AL 120 look really good for this vessel size. However, this candle is burning a tad quicker. Towards the end of the candle, this vessel developed some soot along the rim. |

Testing. This candle is almost out. The AL 140 seems too big for this vessel. There's a tiny bit of soot starting to form along the rim of the vessel and it's burning really fast. |
